Game Policy

GENERAL RULES 

Each GameRound will consist of questions based on upcoming events in the form of cards. The possible answers to the questions may be shown in multiple-choice, manual input, or correct score format. User can select their answers by tapping or clicking the relevant option on each card. All questions must be answered in order to access the Game Confirmation screen. A GameRound will be considered as submitted once a customer confirms their picks on the Game Confirmation screen.

Submitting and Closing GameRounds

In most cases, each GameRound closes at the kick off time of the first fixture of each round. Once an entry has been submitted, it can be changed before the closing time via the Website or Mobile Apps. Once the GameRound has closed, users cannot change their predictions. Jackpot Prize

The Jackpot prize is the value stated in the GameRound. There is no default jackpot prize, and customers are expected to be familiar with the jackpot prize when entering the GameRound. The Jackpot Prize is awarded to the player who correctly predicts all picks in the quiz. In the case of multiple winners of any Jackpot Prize, the winnings will be split between the winners unless a TieBreaker/SuddenDeath format can be used to decide the sole winner.

Non-Jackpot Prizes

Prizes may also be won for non-perfect scores. These are displayed in the PayTable. Prizes.All prizes will be split between the amount of winners who get the same amount of answers correct unless otherwise stated, or if the user is not eligible to win prizes. Remember that you don't need to get all answers correct to win, so check back following settlement to see if you've won a prize!

Prizes

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be converted into different prizes or cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. The Promoter will not be liable for prizes that do not reach the winners due to reasons beyond its reasonable control.

Voided GameRounds

The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to void a GameRound or any of the questions in the GameRound for, but not limited to the following reasons:
  • any of the events within the question being canceled / abandoned / postponed and not rescheduled to be played within 48 hours of the listed time
  • any errors in the question related to an event's starting time that make the questions easier to predict
  • injuries or transfers or other similar reasons which mean that any of the questions are significantly easier to predict
  • inability to score the game due to the unavailability of settlement feeds / sources
  • reasonable concern related to unusual betting activity related to any of the events included in the GameRound
  • any errors in the questions that can reasonably favor one user over another based on their understanding of the question
  • any errors in the questions or answers which make one of the answers over 20% more likely to occur than the average of all of the other possible answers based on third party opinion at kick-off time, this may be due to a number of situation, including but not limited to change in expected team news, line-ups, court surface, linked outcomes in the questions

Corrections

The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to edit the content of the GameRound up until 1 hour before the GameRound's closing time. The reasons for editing a GameRound's content may be for, but not limited to the following reasons:
  • content which is likely to lead to a voided question or GameRound, were it to be left unedited
  • an injury / suspension / transfer related to a player or team in a question
  • an event's cancellation / postponement which would require another event to be included

Leaderboards

The Promoter may include scores from individual GameRounds to contribute to weekly, monthly or other seasonal Leaderboards. The Leaderboards may have prizes associated to performance. Information relating to Leaderboard prizes can be found in the Event Leaderboard section. The prize shown in the Leaderboard rankings is shown as a guide to what the user in that position would win if the users were to finish in that position at the end of the Leaderboard period. GameRounds will contribute to the leaderboard for which they were originally intended even if a postponement means that the event was completed in a different period. For example if a football match originally intended to take place on the 28th February is set to contribute to the February Leaderboard is delayed and is completed on the 1st March, the GameRound would still contribute towards the February Leaderboard.

Point Scoring for Leaderboards

Multiple Choice: The number of points scored per correct pick will be based on the amount of multiple choice potential answers shown. For example: Which team will win the match?  Chiefs / Eagles If the user correctly picks Chiefs, 2 points are scored because there are 2 multiple choice answers displayed.

Manual Input / Correct Score

For these types of questions, the user is required to enter a value to answer a question and scores 10 points if the correct answer is picked. If an incorrect selection is made, the user scores 0 points. For example: Man City vs  Inter Milan: What will be the correct score? If the user correctly picks 1-0 as the correct score, the user earns 10 points; for any other scoreline selected, the user would score 0 points.

Leaderboard - Style Gamerounds

The default and most common way for Daily Jackpot games to be decided by using Contest Score (the number of correctly chosen picks). However, for some contests, usually where prizes are guaranteed to be awarded, a Leaderboard style points-scoring method can be used which follows the same logic as above. For example purposes: if only 2 users participated in a 2 question GameRound that was shown using a Leaderboard style pay-table: 1st Place: Meet & Greet with Lionel Messi at 2026 World Cup Final 2nd Place: VIP Tour of VAR Room at 2026 Champions League Final Username "abc" makes two selections ahead of the 2022 WC Final: Multiple Choice Format: Will Messi & Mbappé both score? Yes / No Answer: Yes Correct Score Format: What will the correct score be? Answer: 0-1 Username "def" makes two selections ahead of the 2022 WC Final: Multiple Choice Format: Will Messi & Mbappé both score? Yes / No Answer: No Correct Score Format: What will the correct score be? Answer: 2-2 Based on the Full Time score of 2-2, username "def" would finish in first place and win the 1st place prize. This is because he earns 10 points for his correct score format pick being correct, despite both participants having the same number of correct picks combined.

American Football Rules

The following rules relate to NFL markets. We reserve the right to apply different rules to other variants of American Football.

Sport Specific Rules

Passing yards and Total yards: Player passing yards are calculated based on total gross yards and are not affected by Sack yards. To put it another way, individual passing yards are always presented as GROSS yards (with sack yards not subtracted out), while team passing yards are always presented as NET yards (meaning sack yards are subtracted out). Total Passing Yards and Total Yards at the team level are based on the Net Totals used by the NFL and Sack Yards negatively impact these metrics. In questions relating to percentages of actions completed, the answer is rounded up or down to the nearest whole number in accordance with mathematical principles. For example: What percentage of passes will Mahomes complete? If the answer is 50.4999%, it would be rounded down to 50%, if it were 50.50%, it would be rounded up to 51% Tackles: Questions relating to tackles are based on the solo tackle statistic used on nfl.com and pro-football-reference.com. Combined tackles which is the same as solo & assisted tackles will only be used to score a question when the question clearly states "combined tackles", "total tackles" or "solo & assisted tackles" All questions relating to the length of an outcome are scored in yards (unless otherwise stated) Longest Field Goal: questions involving the term "longest field goal" relate to the longest successful Field Goal unless explicitly stated using the term "Field Goal attempts / attempted" Starting Quarterback: In questions that are only about one quarterback (e.g. How many passing yards will Patrick Mahomes throw for?), in the event that the quarterback takes no part in the game, the question will be scored based on the starting quarterback for the team in question. This will also apply to questions which only include Quarterback as answer options (e.g "Who will throw more interceptions?" / "Which Quarterback will be sacked first?")

Baseball Rules

The following rules relate to MLB baseball games. We reserve the right to apply different rules to other baseball leagues.

Match Duration and Stages

Based on the league or format of the game in question. All questions relate to the whole game including Overtime / Extra Innings unless otherwise stated or made implicit by the questions or options given.

Sport Specific Rules

Starting Pitcher: In questions relating to a named, expected starting pitcher, the question will be settled according to the pitcher who started the game, except in circumstances referred to below. Based on this term, we reserve the right to change the expected starting pitcher within any question without it having any effect on the scoring. In GameRounds related to a single baseball game, we reserve the right to void the game for leaderboard and/or jackpot purposes if either of the initially anticipated starting pitchers do not start the game, resulting in a deviation of the pre-game moneyline implied probability of either team moving by more than 15%. For the avoidance of doubt, if a team was 1.90 / -110 to win the game and that price moved to 1.50 / -200 due mainly to a change in the anticipated or actual starting pitcher/s, we would reserve the right to void the game for either jackpot and/or leaderboard purposes. In season-long gamerounds, questions such as "How many Home Runs will D.Jeter score?" relates to the regular season only unless the question or Game Round title makes it clear that it also includes the post-season period. How many Innings will be tied? - For this and similar types of questions, the question relates to how many Innings in which neither team scores more than the other. For the avoidance of doubt, this does not relate to the current score after the end of each inning. If the Home Team does not bat in the last Inning due to them leading and having already won, this Inning will not be counted for the purposes of scoring the question. In questions relating to what will happen first, what a player will do first and other similar questions, a Home Run will take precedence over a Hit. For example: "What will Mike Trout do first?" Home Run, Hit, Walk, Strikeout; if Trout's first action out of the named selections is a Home Run, the answer will be scored as a Home Run, even though officially a Home Run is classed as a Hit.

Basketball Rules

The following rules relate to NBA markets. We reserve the right to apply different rules to other basketball leagues

Match Duration and Stages

Based on the league or format of the game in question. All questions relate to the whole game including Overtime / Extra Time unless otherwise stated or made implicit by the questions or options given

Sport Specific Rules

Questions relating to the minutes a player has played in a particular game will be settled using Basketball Reference or NBA.com. For the avoidance of doubt, this type of question relates to how many completed minutes a player will play. If a player is judged to have played 32 mins and 40 seconds, he will be deemed to have played 32 minutes for the purpose of scoring such questions For questions relating to "In which quarter will most points be scored? "The "other" or "OT / Tie" option will include occurrences when there are two or more quarters which have the highest points total or if the Overtime period is the period in which most points are scored

3-pt questions

As per our General Rules, this question: Which listed player will score a 3-pointer first? is asking: based on the players listed below, which one of these listed players will score a 3-pointer earliest in the game. For example: Which listed player will score a 3-pointer first? (James, Howard, Giannis, Doncic, Neither) If Michael Jordan scored the first 3-pointer in the game, that doesn't mean that the question would be settled as Neither. Neither would only be settled as the correct answer if none of the listed options scored a 3-pointer throughout the game.

Soccer Rules

Match Duration and Stages

All questions relate to regular 90-minute matches plus stoppage time unless specified, implicit, or implied by the question (e.g. which team will qualify for the next round?). The timing of goals and other events occuring in football matches will be recorded as follows: 0 - 59 seconds = 1st minute, 1m00s - 1m:59s = 2nd minute, and so on. Any goals scored in injury time will be recorded as 45 minutes for the first half and 90 minutes for the second half of the fixture. In matches that go to extra-time, it may not always be possible to settle regular time statistics from 3rd party data sources. In such circumstances, questions may be settled when necessary based on pro-rata estimates, or using the Promoter's best estimate.

Corner Times

Questions relating to corner times will be settled at the point in time when the corner is legally taken (not won) as per the scoreboard feed or at the time given by our settlement source/s.

Own Goals

Own goals will count towards the settlement of regular goal-based questions but will not count towards player-based goal questions. For example: “In what minute will the 1st goal be scored?” would remain unaffected by any own goal. “How many goals will Messi score?” would only include goals scored by Messi in the opposing goal.

Correct Score

For questions relating to the correct score: 1-0 refers to the home team (or team listed on the left of the card) leading/winning; 0-1 refers to the away team (or team listed on the right of the card) leading/winning.

Time-based Questions

In questions such as "In what minute will the first goal be scored?" or "In what minute will the first corner be taken?", the latest period of time followed by a + symbol listed as an option will include the eventuality of that event not happening during the game unless there is an option of "No Goal" or "Other" as an option amongst the answers.

Starting Goalkeeper/Manager

In questions relating to a named, expected starting goalkeeper, the question will be settled according to the goalkeeper who started the game for the team in question. The same logic would apply to questions related to the team's manager / head coach.

Winning Goal / Decisive Goal

Both terms relate to the earliest goal that ensures a team wins. For example: If a team wins by more than one goal, the separating goal will be deemed as the winning goal - if a match finishes 3-1, the goal scored to make it 2-1 would be deemed as the winning / decisive goal.

Tournament Outrights

For international tournaments (e.g. Euro 2022, World Cup 2024, Copa America), questions relating to how many goals a player or team will score for the whole tournament will include goals scored in extra-time but not goals scored in penalty shoot-outs.

Combined / Total

Even when the term "combined" or "total" is omitted, certain questions will still relate to the combined total of the statistic in question. For example, for the question "How many goals will Messi and Haaland score?", if both players score 1 goal, the answer will be settled as 2.

Statistical Categories

Shots:

For the purposes of GameRounds shots are only considered shots if they are shots on target or shots off target. For the avoidance of doubt, blocked shots by any player other than the opposing goalkeeper are not considered as shots. Woodworks / Shots on post: For questions relating to shots on target, a shot that hits the woodwork does not count. Woodwork / Shots on post attempts are normally counted as shots off target. Except for the above difference, shots and other football datapoints will generally use the same definitions as OPTA. For example, a shot may not always be considered as a shot, simply because a goalkeeper made a save resulting from the shot.

Cards

For questions relating to the amount of cards shown in the match, a second yellow will only result in one card counting towards the total i.e. it will count as two cards in total, instead of three. Cards shown to non-playing staff, as well as players not taking part in the match at the time the card is awarded, will not count towards the total.

Tackles

Tackles - the Opta definition for football tackles is used. A tackle is defined as where a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge where he successfully takes the ball away from the player in possession. The tackled player must clearly be in possession of the ball before the tackle is made.

Passes Completed & Passes Attempted

The majority of questions will relate to a player's completed passes rather than attempted passes. If the question reads, "How many passes will Lionel Messi make?", it will mean how many passes he will complete.

Goal Involvement

The term goal involvement relates to the player/s in question either scoring a goal or making an assist.

Minutes Played

In question relating to player minutes played or a combination of player minutes played such as "How many minutes will Bukayo Saka play?" or "How many minutes will Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe play combined?", there is a maximum of 90 mins played. If both players played the full match and due to added injury time, the amount of time played was more than 90 minutes, the question would be still be scored as 180 maximum.

Only one account is allowed per person. Multiple accounts will be closed. Players must register in their own name, and any player found registering in someone else's name will be disqualified. Acceptance of Terms and Condition

However the Promoter reserves the right to settle the game using the most appropriate source available.

Winners and Entrants Verification and Publication

Winners will be notified by email or telephone using the registered account details. Winners must verify their age, identity, residence, and other requested information to the satisfaction of the Promoter before receiving a prize. If an entrant cannot accept a prize, fails to verify their registration information, breaches these terms and conditions, or cannot be contacted within five (5) Business Days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify them and award the prize to another participant. By participating in the Promotion, participants grant permission for Roobet to use their names, predictions, and photographs for publishing purposes, including leaderboards and other display within the Roobet website or related applications. Submission of Entries The Promoter is not responsible for network, computer hardware, or software failures that may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of entries. Entries must not be submitted via email.

Limitation of Liability

Except in cases of death, personal injury, or fraud, the Promoter, its associated companies, and agents exclude responsibility and liability for: Postponement, cancellation, delay, or changes to prizes, promotions, or esports fixtures beyond the Promoter's control. Technical failures or unavailability of the contest. Obvious errors or omissions relating to awarding prizes or any act or default of any third-party supplier. The terms and conditions of any third-party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable. If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable. Promoter

The Promoter will use its best efforts to score the games based on reliable and consistently available feeds and websites. The Promoter reserves the right to use whichever settlement source in its own discretion in order to settle questions in an accurate and timely manner. Unless there is a clear and obvious error to a question's settlement, the original scoring of questions may stand, even when a data provider changes its settlement after the original publication of data. The Promoter reserves the right to re-settle a game based on updated data if in its own discretion, it is fair to do so based on the fairness to all participants in the GameRound or associated Leaderboards. Consideration to whether prizes have already been awarded may affect any decisions made above. For the avoidance of doubt, even when Primary and Secondary settlement sources are outlined, the Promoter reserves the right to settle questions at its own discretion, using a non-listed settlement source when necessary. The Promoter reserves the right to void a question or a GameRound at its own discretion for any of the situations outlined in the Voided GameRounds section or within the spirit of the guidelines outlined. The Promoter's decision is final and legally binding on all entrants in relation to all aspects of the Promotion. Entries that do not comply with the rules or terms and conditions will be disqualified. No correspondence will be entered into. By using the Roobet Prediction Game, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.

Does it cost money to play a game?

No! Roobet’s Sports Predictor is completely free to play. You just need to have a Roobet account. So what happens if I get all the picks correct? You win big! Each game has a cash prize (although sometimes it might be non-cash).

Where can I check my picks?

At the top you’ll see the Game History icon. Tap this and you’ll see all of your active and previous picks. If you’ve won, you’ll see something like 6/6 or 10/10 (and a little surprise!).

Can I edit my picks?

Yes! You can edit your picks right up until the time the game starts

If I win, how do I claim my prize?

Your prize will be automatically credited to your Roobet account within 48 hours of the game settling. Sometimes it might take longer to credit your prize due to further checks that need to be performed.

Do I need to get everything correct to win a prize?

No! At the start of each game there’s a prize table visible which will show the prizes you can win. There will be a jackpot prize for getting all correct, but for fewer correct picks you might get free spins, free bets, cash or other prizes.
